What Makes Our School Unique

The MBA program is designed for both business and non-business undergraduates.  The degree is completely self-contained, requiring no prerequisite business experience or course work.  An individual student’s MBA curriculum consists of between a maximum of 20 classes and a minimum of 10 classes.  Specifically, MBA coursework can be divided into two groups of 10 classes. The first group of ten classes is the graduate business core component and quickly gives a non-business undergraduate student the same academic knowledge base as that of an undergraduate business student. These courses are waived if you have taken the coursework at the undergraduate level. The second group of ten classes is the graduate breadth component and is required of all students.  Use the MBA Planning Sheet link to the left of the page. Thus, a student’s MBA curriculum is dependent upon the number of courses waived (if any) and may range between ten and twenty classes. Acceptance is dependant upon, but not limited to, one of the following: If at least one year has passed from the time of a student’s graduation date to the start of the semester the student wants to enter the program, he or she must earn at least 950 points based on the following formula: (200 X GPA) + GMAT >= 950, with a minimum GMAT score of 400. If at least one year has not passed from the time of a student’s graduation date to the start of the semester the student wants to enter the program,  he or she must earn at least 950 points based on the formula: (200 X GPA) + GMAT >= 950, with a minimum GMAT score of 450. The minimum GMAT score required is 400 in all cases if a student’s GPA is 3.5 or greater, regardless of the time between a student’s graduation date and the start of the semester he or she wants to enter the program.  Classes are available afternoons, evenings, and online.
