What Makes Our School Unique

Recruiters tell us that it's not what you know, but what you can do that will determine your success. We help you grow in 3 areas they say you must excel at to advance.

General Management: We believe that general management is not a major. Instead, it is a way of thinking that must be pervasive in the program.

Teamwork and Leadership: In your first year of the program, you will practice and get personal feedback on leading others and working effectively in a team.

Communication: We require all MBA students to take a management communication course. This 7-week course helps you increase your effectiveness as you speak to groups, give presentations, and communicate with and persuade others.

Areas of Particular Strength
Full-time MBA students major in one or more of 8 areas of concentration or plan your courses to meet your specific career goals. Our faculty is particularly strong in these 8 areas. Executives in our MBA weekend and evening programs choose from more than 35 electives that span these same fields of study. Undergraduate business students may earn a concentration in one of 4 areas.

Customer and product management
Corporate finance
Entrepreneurial studies
Global supply chain management
International business
Investment management
Management consulting
Real estate
Sustainable enterprise
